Appataxi ® is a APP that allows you to acquire a Taxi immediately from a live map, of independent fully licensed and insured Cabs, using the latest technology, we have developed this system for the benefit of both customer and driver.

History

We have been in the taxi service industry for the past 20 years and have extensive experience, first as customers and then as drivers and service providers.

Concept

Having come up with an idea originally for texting a Taxi, we moved with the technological revolution and have now developed a dedicated application (or App) for the process.

How it works

Appataxi ® is an easy way of acquiring a Taxi. The App allows you to choose the vehicle and the driver in your location, simply by clicking on the car icon. As soon as you have selected your required Taxi and received conformation you can track your car on the live map

Features

You have a simple way of acquiring a Taxi. There is no need to phone a controller, as your request goes direct to the driver.

Payment Method

You will have the option to pay the driver by card, contactless, Apple Pay, google pay, or cash.

Hiring

When you have hired your taxi you will not be able to cancel it, please make sure your request is valid, otherwise you could be charged a minimum fare.
You can call the driver once he has confirmed your booking.

Fare

Your fare will be calculated from the following methods,
The app price calculator, which will be displayed at the end of each ride, or from an on board taxi meter. These options will be displayed on driver information tab,

How to use the App for Client

Make sure your browser is the latest version, Google Chrome is recommended,

Tap on client link, tap on new user, enter your mobile number omitting the 0 request OPT, enter your name  password and OPT code sent via SMS, you now should be set to use the App

Use on other platforms

This app is designed to operate on other platforms, such as, Android, Apple, windows, tablets, so it is important that you keep your password safe.

Price calculator

The price calculator gives you an estimated fare for your guidance, and the driver will determine the final fare.
To see an estimated fare do the following,

Location

Check your location is correct, enter your destination, tap on taxi, check this is a non meter taxi, you will see the estimated price of your ride.

Appataxi® for Drivers

This APP allows the driver to be totally independent, you can login as and when you choose or in between jobs,the online and offline button gives you full control of jobs which will allow you to dictate when you want to work.

  • This APP allows the driver to be totally independent, once you login you can use the online and offline buttons to give you full control of jobs.
  • To use of this app you will need the following licenses.
  • Hackney licences, or private hire licenses, including operator license.
  • The price calculator works out the fare at the end of the journey, also the clients can get an estimated fare before booking there Taxi.
  • The driver can contact the client via phone or text.

Send Message

Text box this allows you to send a message to the customer when hired.

Login Button

Login button, this logs you in to the APP at the start of the day.

Markers

Set mark as successful button, this controls the current job.

Online / Offline

Online offline button keeps the APP open, but allows you to go offline.

Call Client

Call client allows you to call customer should you need to contact them.

Near by driver

Near by driver this gives you a list of nearest drivers which you can call direct by just tapping on the driver nearest to your location for help or advise.

How it works

When a client hires you, a notification window appears and an icon will appear on the map, you will have three options (see screenshot) to except reject or call client, once you select except booking, arrived button will appear this lets the client know you have arrived, then start ride button will appear, this starts the fare calculator, once you end the ride the price will be displayed on driver and client app once the transaction has been confirmed a star rate window appears.
